Spartans (3-0) hosted Moose Lake Area hockey (2-4) in a non-conference contest at Superior Ice Arena. The Rebels of Moose Lake Area opened the scoring at ... of the 1st period as ....scored with assists going to .....,.... The Spartans would answer later in the period when #21 Autumn Cooper curled in front the goal with a wrist shot and assist to #11 Makaela Reinke to take a 1-1 tie into intermission. Rebels goaltender, Mallory Hartl, had 15 saves in the opening frame while Superior's, Kaylie Nault, had 8. 

The Spartans killed off a penalty to start the period. #11 Makaela Reinke scored with assists to #3, #28 to take the lead 2-1. The Spartans would not look back and score three more goals in the period. #21 Autumn Coooper would score on the power play with assist to #11 Makaela Reinke at 5:47. Kenlyn Thimm would be credited the goal with shot right between the circles to make score 4-1. Assists would go to #21 Autumn Cooper and #11 Makaela Reinke. Last Spartan goal of the period went to #21 Autumn Cooper to complete the hat trick, with assists going to #20 Gabryel Olson and #11 Makaela Reinke. The Rebels would score at 13:24 of the 2nd with a nice pass off the left boards out front for #6 Gracie Hartl making the score 2-5. Assists would go to #8 Kaylin Mortenson, and #25 Kaydence Prachar. Saves in the second period Rebels Hartl - 9/24 and Superior's Nault 5/13.

The third period would be marked by penalties. Superior would register 4 while the Rebels had 1. Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the third to make the final 5-2 Spartans. Saves in the third period would be Rebels Hartl / , and Superior's Nault with  /. Rebels will fall to 2-5 on the season with their next contest will be at home against Hopkins/Park on Saturday. The Spartans will take their unblemished record to Onalaska to face the Coulee Region on Saturday at 1:15pm.
