The Duluth Figure Skating Club held their annual Spring show titled "Fashion "Ice" Ta!"this past weekend. Over 120 skaters took part in the annual club showcase. The experience of the skaters was comprised of all levels of skaters and included a parent/skater performance "Putting on the Ritz". Both shows had great crowds that enjoyed the Solo performances as well as the group skates. The DFSC also held a silent auction on a wide variety of gift baskets. The club also collected non perishable food items at the door. Maya Morrissey, a participant said, "it is so much fun to go and skate in front of a big crowd wearing fun costumes and just having fun". The enthusiasm that the skaters share for their craft really shines through. For more information on the DFSC you can go to their website at www.duluthfsc.org. You can also find information on their learn to skate programs.
