SUPERIOR – The Yellowjacket softball team fell short against UW-Stout today in the last two games of the 2015 season. The Yellowjackets finished their season under .500.
In the first game, the Yellowjackets managed only three runs total which was not enough to overcome the Blue Devils 10-run game.
The Yellowjackets held their own in the second game as the scoring went back and forth until the 4th inning when the Blue Devils went ahead 3-2. The Blue Devils brought home another run in the 6th.
The Yellowjackets responded with a two-run inning in the 7th. In the end, the Yellowjackets needed one more run that never came and the Blue Devils scraped by with a 5-4 win.
