              The Northwestern Boys’ Basketball Team clinched WIAA Division 3 Regional Title as they defeated Hayward in front of a nice home crowd. Hayward held a 31-28 point lead into halftime. The second half the Tigers were able to outscore the Hurricanes 30-20 for the 58-51 vicotry. The Northwestern Tigers were lead in scoring by Alex Tecker with 23points. Nate Pearson and Riley Stowers added 14 and 11 respectfully. Xavier Cummings of Hayward scored 27 points in the losing effort.

               The Tigers will next be in action on Thursday March 10 at 7PM, as they will travel to River Falls to face Prescott. The iFan Sports Network plans on being there to broadcast the game if you are going to be unable to attend.
