I've been mushing since the age of 12.  I am a 4 time champion of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. I took Rookie of the year honors in the 2014 Iditarod.  My personal goal is always to just finish. I want to thank all my sponsors that have supported me as I continue to chase my dreams. I also want to thank my family and friends that have helped in training, handling or driving along the way. My advice to new mushers is to "Toughen Up!"

Nathan says "there isn't a dog as good as this one. Filmore would have been in front for the 2014 Beargrease but had to drop because of a frost bite issue. He will be back for the 2015 race and is ready to bring another title home!" Filmore has run in the pack and on lead and if I had to pick a favorite Filmore would be the one. "He is just solid performer and always has game face on."

Bandit is a 5 year old male that is very friendly but serious about his job as lead. He is Nathan's 2x MVP John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon Champion (2013, 2014) lead dog. Bandit is also the MVP lead dog in Nathan's 17th place finish in the 2014 Iditarod which helped earn the Rookie of the Year Award. He is looking to continue his winning ways this season.
